Gates of Olympus Review
Gates of Olympus puts Zeus beside a 6×5 grid where symbols pay anywhere, wins tumble away and random multiplier orbs of up to 500× can land on any spin.
Pays anywhere
There are no paylines: eight or more of the same symbol anywhere on the screen pay. Winning symbols disappear and new ones fall in, and the tumbles continue until no new win forms. Pragmatic Play rates the game high volatility.
Gates of Olympus Features
Multiplier symbols
Multiplier symbols land on any reel in the base game and free spins with values from 2× to 500×. When a tumbling sequence ends, all multipliers on screen are added together and applied to the sequence's total win.
Free spins
Four or more scatters anywhere award 15 free spins, and three or more during the round add 5. In free spins every multiplier that lands on a winning spin is added to a total multiplier, which then boosts every later win in the round.
Ante bet and buy
An ante bet raises the cost by 25% and doubles the chance of triggering free spins naturally, but disables the buy. Without it, free spins can be bought for 100× the bet.
RTP and maximum win
The demo reports 96.50% in every mode: standard, ante bet and buy. Wins are capped at 5,000× the bet, and Pragmatic Play's own data puts the chance of reaching the cap at about 1 in 697,000 rounds. Gates of Olympus 1000 raises the cap to 15,000×.
