Retro Gems Review
Retro Gems, from August 2021, is one of the very first Retro Gaming slots. It spreads 100 lines across a 5×4 grid of gemstones and introduced the Retro Bet that later games built on.
100 lines of jewels
With 100 lines, most spins produce some kind of line win, and stakes range widely from 0.10 to 1,000. A wild substitutes for standard symbols, and a scatter triggers the game's special features.
Retro Gems Features
Retro Bet
The Retro Bet costs an extra amount equal to the total bet. In return it adds a win multiplier; the catalogue describes it as multiplying winnings by up to 10×. Later Retro Gaming games changed the Retro Bet into a sticky wild.
Figures
A catalogue lists 94.02% RTP and a 10,000× maximum, the same figures as Ice Cold Fruits, released three months later.
